NEw! Supporting Life-Long Wellness
Midlife is a time of many changes for women and requires careful attention to nutrition and lifestyle. You know eating well is a key to lifelong wellness, but you’re not sure how to make it work in your busy life. You also know that your surroundings impact your ability to get the food in, prepare it and eat it in a serene atmosphere. She Breathes collaborators Peg Doyle and Kerri Miller show you how to make it work. Peg will share simple dishes with you that are packed with nutrients, and Kerri will show you how atmosphere impacts everything from pantry to table. Those attending receive food samples, recipes and a template for arranging your space so it supports health and wellness.

Raising the Chi With Aromatherapy
Did you know that you can boost the chi of any space simply by dispersing pure essential oils into the air? Learn how essential oils can unconsciously affect mood, the differences between pure oils and fragrances, and methods for diffusing the scents into your space. We'll also discuss which oils to use for creating different moods/atmosphere including calming, energizing and cleansing scents. Bring your noses – and learn why aromatherapy makes scents! During class we'll make 3 different room sprays, each evoking a different mood/atmosphere: one for creating calm, one that uplifts and energizes and another that is cleansing and purifying. Details and registration for this event will be available 2 weeks prior at www.hollistonlibrary.org/.
