But I have missed writing the blog, so I'm going to add it back in with a few changes. First, it will be shorter (and sweeter!). It might not be as pretty with lots of pictures for a while but it will be full of Feng Shui information and tips that you can use and apply in your spaces everyday. That's my goal with it -- to give you something to think about, something to try, or a new way to look at things in your space/life. Sometimes it just takes a small adjustment to start a big shift within your home, or within any of your life areas. I'm hoping to give you some tools to get things flowing and shifting around you.
As I write the book, I'm falling in love with Feng Shui even more. I had no idea I had so much to say about the topic but I just keep filling pages. Here's one of the things I've started writing about in the book that stands out to me: You've probably hear it said that "your home is a reflection" of you. That is true, but it's even more than that, each section of your home represents a different part of you, some area mirror parts of our physical self and others mirror our consciousness, past or potential. It's why we can learn so much about ourselves by looking at our home!
Here's a few examples:
- Windows = Eyes
- Hallways = Arteries and Veins
- Plumbing = Digestive System
- Basements = Your Past
- Attics = Your Future Ambitions
- Closets = Subconscious
- Bedroom = Inner Self
- Electrical Wiring = Nervous System
- Mirrors = Self Awarenss
- Clutter = Confusion
My hope is to give you a new way to see your home (and yourself) by writing this blog and the upcoming book. Take a look at your home today and see if this new way of looking at it provides any insight into you, your life your health and perhaps how to shift things to make positive changes. Feel free to share your insights/questions in the comments section.
Happy Feng Shui-ing!

PS: Bear with me while www.FengShuiPathways and the blog undergo some Feng Shui-ing of their own. As with most makeovers and construction projects it can look worse before it gets better. Good things are coming ...
